The government of Nepal, Home Ministry has published a notice in Nepal Gazette regarding all the public holidays in Nepal to be given from Baisakh 1 to the end of Chaitra 2079. This public holidays in Nepal is for all the Government Offices, Public Institutions and other offices. In this list of public holidays in Nepal, there are 52 Saturdays, 16 National Festivals, 4 Regional holidays according to Religions, Culture Geographical locations, special areas, 2 days holiday for female employees, 1 for educational institutions only and many more.

Office Hours in Nepal for Summer time:
- Baisakh 1 to Kartik 15 and Magh 16 to chaitra End : 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Sunday to Thursday)
- Friday: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Half-Day: 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Office Hours in Nepal for Winter time:
- Kartik 16 to Magh 15 : 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Sunday to Thursday)
- Friday: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Half-Day: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
The office shall manage the break time of 30 minutes in a shift basis so that service to the general people does not get interrupted.
